Sleeves and bottom edge are hemmed and double stitched for sturdiness and good looks.

The inner layer of our Viking Age Gambeson faces the grain side of the leather outward. The same high quality leather is used on both inside and outside layers.

Braided tie and loop closure. Splits are encased and all trim and seams are carefully hand sewn.

Front edges are fully encased in trim. Sleeves are stitched along the entire edge with the bottoms hemmed and decorated by a double row of hand stitching.
