Incised & Studded Belts
In the Middle Ages, belts were sometimes decorated with lines incised parallel to the
edges. Examples of incised belts have been found and noted in publications by the Museum of London.
Medieval Eyelet Belt
Late Medieval illustrations, effigies, and in some instances, stained glass windows, depict knights wearing belts, swordbelts and shield straps decorated with eyelets their entire length. This arrangement is eminently practical as it allows for unlimited adjustability.
Pirate Belt / Kilt Belt

Heavily studded belts are readily seen in Medieval and Renaissance illustrations, worn by soldiers and townsmen alike. Our handsome Studded Belt measures 1-1/2 inches wide and is adorned in a pattern of alternating crosses and steel & brass studs.
