This style frog is seen in Medieval illumination countless times, and is one of our personal favorites.

We use a double layer of heavy bridle leather to create the backing and belt loop; and your scabbard is secured to this backing using soft yet sturdy leather lacing straps.

We've shown our dagger (lower left) peace-tied using the excess lacing.

We don't claim the construction method to be historically accurate. What we've done is develop a simple and inexpensive way of recreating a classic Medieval look.

Our design works well for broadswords worn at the hip and daggers of many styles.

Both the Sword Frog and the Dagger Frog fit belts up to 2 inches wide. We'll be happy to make size adjustments for wider belts at your request.
